Citric Acid Passivation
Our dedicated stainless steel passivation facility specializes in high-quality citric acid passivation — delivering superior corrosion resistance and a clean, passive surface finish for critical components. Using both full immersion and spray-applied techniques, we ensure consistent, uniform results across complex geometries and large assemblies.
This environmentally responsible process removes free iron while forming a protective chromium oxide layer, significantly enhancing corrosion resistance without the hazards associated with traditional nitric acid methods.
Our facility is equipped with an on-site quality control laboratory, ultra-pure distilled and deionized (DI) water systems, ISO Class 2 compressed air, and full sanitary packaging capabilities. Serving medical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, food processing, and aerospace industries, we deliver reliable, repeatable results that meet or exceed ASTM A967 and AMS 2700.
